Accurian iPod Alarm Clock

The iPod Alarm Clock provides alarm clock and speaker dock functionality with a built-in self charger – all in one unit. The user simply sets the alarm time on the iPod and plugs it in (so there's no need to learn a new interface) – to gently wake up to a favorite playlist and a freshly charged iPod. Two speakers underneath the familiar alarm-bell forms provide rich, crisp sound that belies the size of the alarm clock itself. The design leverages the icon of the circular bell-style alarm clock to immediately communicate the product's function – and hint at a time when setting your alarm didn't require a 22-page instruction manual.
